A Rare Survivor from Aston Martin’s Formative Bertelli Era
Some motor cars are rare because few survive. Others are significant because they represent the foundations of an iconic marque. Chassis T14 is both. Built in 1928 during the formative Bertelli and Renwick period, this Aston Martin 1½-Litre T-type Tourer belongs to the earliest chapter of Aston Martin Motors Ltd, when every car was individually crafted for knowledgeable enthusiasts and the company’s future was still taking shape.
The T-type Tourer was Aston Martin’s long-chassis, four-seat touring model, combining the marque’s emerging sporting character with genuine practicality.
